Welcome to Children Donate too!

The idea for childrendonate2.org website  came about when one of my step daughters (9 years old) saw that I have built some web pages and I asked her if she would like to help me create one for kids.  She thought this was a fun idea.    So we both were going to see what ideas we can think of. The next day my other step daughter (7 years old) found some money.  We all decided to donate  the money to help others.  So we got on the computer and went to a charity site I know of that helps kids that have been hurt.  The girls were excited that they helped other kids like that.  It  made them feel good.   So, we thought what a great idea to have a site with all sorts of charities that help people and animals with needs that kids can go to with their parents and support.

It has been a fun project and kids love it. 

This site is great for kids and their parents to have family time together as they help others.  It is fun to look at the cute animal pictures and fun sites, But the most important is that children who are fortunate enough to have computers and parents who care, can understand just how fortunate they really are by seeing that there are many others that don’t have such.  

Kids have so much these days and they are shocked when we tell them  at a time we only had 13 TV channels and we had to get up to change the channel.  We had no cell phones, no microwave and no computers.   And this was a good life for us kids.   We were not lacking.   There are kids out there that don’t have homes, and parents that love them.  There are kids that don’t own computers.

We hope that this site will bring abundance to all the charities to help their need.  We hope it brings great family time to you and yours.   We also hope that this site can help kids learn just how lucky they are with all the wonderful things they do have. 

I will also add that my husband and I loved to see the girls excitement about helping others when we donated money that day on the computer.
